Peter (Dr. Smooth) Del Castillo: Bass

Peter is the ringer on bass. As a youngster growing up in Overland Park, Kansas, Peter picked up the bass in high school after hearing the inimitable Geddy Lee of Rush. By the time he got to college, Peter was a high-demand bass player, playing primarily with the blues-driven soul-funk outfit, The Second Street Heads. Later, while living in Minnesota, Peter played with the big band Kevin and the Keepsakes.

No matter what Peter is playing, he adds an unmatched degree of smoothness and precision, creating a pocket with the drums that's deeper than the Grand Canyon.
